Liquid cork sealant Bostik 3070

Each floor combined with another requires the expansion joint and filling it with a material resistant to compression and stretching. The floors working with each other, due to changes in temperature and humidity, may slightly decrease or increase their linear dimensions. Therefore, it is a good idea to prepare on such a joint a 5-10 mm wide gap, which will be responsible for reducing the stress between the floor surfaces.

Liquid cork sealant Bostik 3070 compensates for the "work" of the floor in places where there may be warping and deformation of the surface. To fill them, a cork mix is used, which isn’t only an aesthetic finishing of the floor, but most of all effectively eliminates all stresses. The high elasticity of the liquid cork is indispensable for repeated compression when the humidity of the floor increases and when stretching, as it decreases.

Liquid cork sealant Bostik 3070 is also the highest quality seal for acoustic and thermal insulation. A large number of air-filled cells in cork granules make the insulation material from Bostik 3070, which reduces the heat and cold flow, and perfectly isolates acoustically. It is suitable for acoustic and thermal insulation, in particular for insulation between the window frame and the wall as well as for filling joints in connection points of building elements, partition walls and masonry and for other possible applications of acoustic and thermal insulation. The liquid cork Bostik is applied by hand or with a suitable spray gun. Carefully fill the expansion joint with cork material. After removing the excess cork and leveling with the surface spatula, the whole is left to dry for 24 hours.
