140cm

Sheets and panels are very practical, but not when you need a long, continuous piece of material. You can, of course, join several smaller sections together, but on a larger surface, this means more visible seams. If you want a more uniform finish, Cork Roll For Wall is a better solution. The 140 cm width works particularly well for non-standard projects where typical formats are simply not suitable.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CORK ROLL FOR WALL?

The biggest advantage of cork in a roll is that it allows you to cover a larger surface with a single piece of material. If you want to finish an entire wall, a furniture front or a large worktop, standard sheets may be too small. In that case, they need to be joined together, and the seams may remain visible. A roll helps reduce the number of joins, giving the surface a more uniform appearance.

As the material is rolled up, it is easier to store, transport and unroll only when needed.

It is still natural cork – warm to the touch and easy to cut – simply in a format that is more convenient for larger projects.

DOES CORK NEED TO BE ACCLIMATISED BEFORE INSTALLATION?

Yes. Before installation, leave the cork in the room where it will be fitted for 72 hours. During this time, the material will adjust to the temperature and humidity of the space.

It is important not to skip this step. Cork installed without prior acclimatisation may later change its dimensions slightly. As a result, the corners may begin to lift and the material may not adhere as well to the surface. Allowing a few days for preparation reduces this risk and helps achieve a more durable finish.

IS NATURAL CORK DIFFICULT TO CLEAN?

No, quite the opposite. Cork has antistatic properties, so it does not attract dust as readily as many plastic surfaces. For everyday cleaning, it is usually enough to wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

The most important thing is to clean it gently. Avoid rough sponges, vigorous scrubbing and harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface or alter its appearance. The gentler the cleaning method, the better it is for the cork.

Cork roll for wall is simply natural cork material supplied in a convenient rolled format. If you want to finish a larger section of wall, cover a worktop or prepare an element to specific dimensions, you can reduce the number of visible joins.

A roll like this can be used as a wall covering, a decorative layer or protection against light scuffs and scratches. It also works well for covering furniture, shelves and drawer interiors, as well as for DIY projects, model making, crafts and manufacturing.

Why choose cork instead of plastic? You can feel the difference as soon as you touch the surface. Cork is warm, slightly soft and has a natural, irregular texture. It feels nothing like smooth, cold plastic. If you are planning an unusual application and are unsure which thickness to choose, contact us – we will help you select the right option.
