WHAT DOES ‘PERFORATED’ MEAN?

Perforated simply means that the surface of the noticeboard isn't a smooth sheet of metal, but one with evenly spaced holes. This makes it more practical, as it's easier to position magnets and drawing pins – rather like a grid that helps keep everything organised.

You can attach papers using standard drawing pins, just like on a cork noticeboard, or with magnets – whichever you find more convenient. If something needs to stay up for a long time (such as regulations, instructions, or important contact numbers), a drawing pin keeps it securely in place. If you regularly rearrange your information, a magnet lets you move a note to a different spot in seconds, without putting holes in the paper.

One of the biggest advantages is that the noticeboard can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. If you have a narrow section of wall between cupboards, the vertical orientation is the better choice.
