Application of HolzProf Fire Retardant Liquid

Always remember that application of HolzProf should be carried out according to the guidelines provided in the application instructions. Apply HolzProf Fire Retardant using a brush, roller, dip, or vacuum-pressure method. The recommended drying time is 24-36 hours (at an air temperature of 20 °C and humidity of 65%). Full fire resistance is achieved after 7 days. Apply the impregnant in three stages, allowing 40-60 minutes between each coat. The total consumption of the product should be a minimum of 300 g/m² (270 ml/m²). For Canadian Western Red Cedar (WRC), the minimum coefficient is 360 ml/m² of surface area. All surfaces of the wooden elements, including the hidden ones, should undergo impregnation. After 24-72 hours, once the protected and dried wood reaches a moisture level below 18%, it can be painted or coated with decorative-protective agents (perform a compatibility test with the coatings before starting the application) Complete bonding of the product with natural cork or wood occurs after approximately seven days.
