Collect cork stoppers and exchange them for gadgets
Do you open wine, liqueurs, olive oil or other products sealed with cork every day? At home, in restaurants, bars or cafés, the number of cork stoppers is rapidly increasing. Unfortunately, in most cases they end up in the bin or, at best, lying in a drawer gathering dust. That’s a shame, because cork is a natural, renewable and fully recyclable material.
That’s why we have created a programme that gives corks a new life. All you need to do is start collecting them and send them to us – in return you’ll receive selected gifts and gadgets from our range. For larger amounts we offer individual collection arrangements (including the option of pick-up by our company). We also offer the possibility to purchase corks under certain conditions.
We collect your cork waste and give it a new life
If your company uses cork in its production process, it undoubtedly generates waste. Sorting, storing and disposing of it is time-consuming and costly. We offer a simpler and more sustainable solution: we receive cork waste, process it and reuse it.
This saves you time, space and resources. We negotiate individual cooperation terms depending on the quantity and type of waste. We value every batch of cork because we know its wide range of applications. We also believe that a responsible approach to recyclable materials changes waste management – what is a problem for one company is a resource for another.
Where else do we source cork stoppers from?
We look for cork stoppers in various places to ensure that as many as possible can be reused. We work with shops, wholesalers and wineries that provide cork stoppers from both customers and suppliers. We regularly visit hotels, guesthouses and wedding venues where cork consumption is high and constant. We also collect cork from event organisers, tastings, festivals and fairs. We work with individual customers, businesses and suppliers, which allows us to gather larger amounts of raw material in one place.
In addition to traditional cork stoppers, we collect leftovers and unused pieces of bark as well as used cork boards, mats and underlays from renovations or insulation removals. We are also happy to receive remains of cork gaskets, technical and decorative components, and even cork waste from the sports and music industries (granules from playing fields or instrument parts).
Why do we collect natural cork?
Cork is a natural, renewable, biodegradable and durable resource. Unfortunately, large amounts of cork end up in landfills every year, despite being highly recyclable. We shred the collected materials and then transform them into new products: coasters, boards, decorative accessories, insulation elements and other cork products. This helps us reduce waste, cut down the consumption of new raw materials and support responsible production. We believe that even small actions – taken together – make a noticeable difference.
