WHAT CAN I USE SELF ADHESIVE CORK ROLLS FOR?

You can create a large cork board – perfect for photos, notes, or reminders that you want to keep in sight (for this, choose natural cork with a thickness of 5 to 10 mm). Cork roll is also great for decorating and protecting walls. In this case, thinner rolls (2-4 mm) work perfectly.

If you're into model-making or crafting, cork rolls are ideal for creating dioramas, models, and decorative elements. They’re even used in theatre or film set design – natural cork is a lightweight material that’s easy to work with.

Flexible natural cork is also an excellent choice for gaskets, as it easily adapts to various surfaces.

WHY CHOOSE SELF ADHESIVE CORK ROLLS OVER TRADITIONAL INSTALLATION?

First and foremost, you don’t need to be a DIY expert – just stick it on, and you’re done! There’s no need for special tools, and you don’t have to worry about applying glue incorrectly. The adhesive layer is already on the roll, so all you have to do is peel off the protective film and stick the cork roll in place.

WHAT SURFACES CAN YOU APPLY SELF ADHESIVE CORK TO?

Self-adhesive cork is best applied to smooth, flat, and dust-free surfaces. It works well on plasterboard or furniture panels.

Before sticking the cork roll, make sure the surface is clean, even, and dust-free. Avoid applying the roll on uneven surfaces, even if the wall feels only slightly rough.

WHAT THICKNESS OF NATURAL CORK SHOULD I CHOOSE?

For decorative or protective layers on walls or furniture, a thinner cork roll of 2-4 mm will do the job. For cork boards, we recommend thicker rolls – 5-10 mm. And if insulation is your priority, opt for cork that’s 10 mm or thicker.

SHOULD I CHOOSE A SELF ADHESIVE CORK OR SHEETS?

If you’re covering a larger area, like an entire wall, a cork roll is the perfect choice. It’s easier to install and, most importantly, has fewer visible seams. On the other hand, sheets are better suited for smaller projects.
