The photos and visualisations presented depict the appearance of the cork under studio lighting conditions. The actual colour may vary slightly depending on lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
Picking the right wall panels can be a bit of a gamble. They always look amazing in pictures — eye-catching patterns and fashionable shades. But once they’re on your walls, they end up being dust magnets, wear out too soon, and within a few weeks, you're thinking about ripping them off. So, is there a perfect solution? Definitely — check out the Stripes 3D Cork Wall Panels. They’re a visual knockout right from the start, and it only gets better. Crafted from natural, antistatic cork, they offer acoustic dampening, bring a cosy feel, and are worlds apart from anything plastic.

Got a few questions? We’ve got the answers right here!
WHERE CAN I USE 3D CORK WALL PANELS?
Just about anywhere! In the living room, they look fantastic as a statement wall – maybe behind the couch or around your TV for a standout look. In bedrooms, placing them behind the headboard creates a warm and cosy vibe – both in feel and appearance, since cork is naturally soft and warm. They’re a brilliant option for home offices too.
They also work a treat in compact apartments. Try them in the entryway to make a great first impression, above the bed for a feature piece, or just to add a touch of character to your living space.
Thinking beyond home? 3D cork is popular in workspaces, coffee shops, restaurants, salons, wellness centres, and therapy spaces too.
WHAT AREA DOES A SINGLE TILE COVER?
Each tile spans 0.05 m². To cover 1 m², you’ll need at least 21 pieces.
WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE INSTALLING THE TILES?
- Let the cork rest. The tiles need to sit in the room for around 72 hours so they can adapt. Skipping this could mean warping, bigger gaps, or even tiles peeling off.
- Get the wall ready. Make sure it’s clean, dry, flat, and smooth. “Sort of even” won’t do – flaws will show and can cause the tiles to detach.
- Clean it up. Adhesive won’t stick to dust, oil, flaking paint, or leftover wallpaper. You’ll want a spotless surface for the best result.
- Plan your layout first. Once you’re sure where each tile’s going, then it’s time for the glue.
WHAT’S THE RIGHT WAY TO FIT 3D CORK WALL PANELS?
We suggest using Wakol D-3540 cork glue. With a 0.8 kg tub, you can stick roughly 69 panels; the bigger 2.5 kg version handles about 240 tiles. Apply glue to both the back of the panel and the wall using a short-pile velour roller. Make sure it’s spread out evenly with no blobs. Wait for the glue to go transparent – that’s when it’s ready. Press the tile firmly into place.
DO I HAVE TO LET THE PANELS SETTLE BEFORE MOUNTING?
Absolutely – leave them in the room for 72 hours to get used to the conditions. This helps avoid peeling and cracking.
CAN I STICK THEM TO A BUMPY WALL?
It’s best if the wall is flat, even, and clean. If the surface is textured, there’s a risk the panels will eventually come loose.
WILL THE PANEL EDGES BE OBVIOUS?
The seams might be a little visible, but thanks to the design, they won’t really stand out. To minimise this even further, let the panels rest for 72 hours in the room before fitting. That way, they’ll adapt to the space and help prevent visible gaps forming later.
DOES NATURAL CORK REALLY INSULATE?
Yes, it does – cork naturally helps retain heat and reduces noise. Its honeycomb-like structure is full of tiny air pockets that slow down heat loss and absorb sound. Unlike synthetic options like plastic, cork does all this without any artificial help.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN CORK?
Keeping cork clean is easy – no need for fancy products. Just wipe it now and then with a dry or slightly damp cloth to lift everyday smudges.
For tougher stains, use a gentle cleaner – like a pH-neutral one. Avoid soaking the cork – it doesn’t like too much water. Stay away from bleach, rough sponges, or abrasive brushes, as they can ruin the surface.
ARE THESE 3D TEXTURED WALL PANELS CHILD-FRIENDLY?
Yes, cork is 100% natural and completely safe. It’s free from harmful substances and poses no danger – even for the little ones.
Plus, it’s hypoallergenic – it doesn’t collect dust or mites. Its breathable texture means it doesn’t trap moisture, which helps stop mould and mildew developing.
CAN I USE CORK IN THE KITCHEN OR BATHROOM?
Cork works well in places where humidity stays between 40% and 60%. It lets moisture escape, which helps stop mould – a big plus in kitchens and bathrooms. Just don’t let it get wet – avoid splashing it directly or soaking it. Keeping it dry means it’ll last longer.
ARE STRIPES 3D CORK WALL PANELS SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR USE?
Not really. Weather conditions like rain, temperature swings, and general exposure can quickly damage the panels and shorten their lifespan.
Your home should be a place to relax – not something that drains your energy. Bare walls, echoey rooms, and harsh surfaces don’t exactly help you feel at ease. Plastic wall panels? Sure, they’re alright to look at, but they’ll never give off that warm, homely vibe. Decorative cork panels – like Stripes – are a far better option.

#1 A STYLE THAT STANDS OUT
Stripes cork panels aren’t your usual wall décor. They’ve got depth and character – which is exactly why they make an impact. It’s the kind of detail that instantly grabs attention. People notice. They’re curious.
And the great thing? Stripes lets you style your space on your own terms. Put it up any way you fancy – vertically, across the room, just one wall, or a feature strip. There’s no fixed rule – just let your creativity take charge. Suddenly, you realise there’s no need for a paint job, new furniture or a big makeover to change things up. It’s an easy, stylish switch – done your way.
#2 CORK VS THE OLD-SCHOOL OPTIONS
Paint and wallpaper? We’ve all used them. They look fantastic – for the first few days. Then life kicks in. With cork, you don’t need to pick between “looks good” and “works well”. It delivers on both. Stylish? Definitely. Practical? 100%. Sustainable? Yep – no plastic tricks here.
Cork is made to handle daily life – it’s more durable than paint, doesn’t peel like wallpaper, and also improves acoustics and insulation. Put it up once and forget the hassle. It just works, long-term.
#3 GOING NATURAL IS IN
More people are choosing to live low-waste or zero-waste lifestyles. We recycle, ditch single-use plastics, and carry our own bags. But how about our interiors? Wall finishes also add to waste – and that’s where natural cork shines. It’s biodegradable and even carbon negative.
Cork is more than just eco-friendly hype. It’s gathered from cork oak trees without chopping them down. Only the bark is stripped – and it grows back naturally. This can be done every 9 to 12 years without any damage to the tree. The process is totally renewable, leaves no waste, and is – most importantly – free from plastic. Just nature at its best.
#4 BUILT TO LAST & FUNCTIONAL
Cork wall panels aren’t just there to look pretty – they offer real everyday benefits too. They reduce echo, make a space sound better, and bring warmth to any wall. That’s something cold plastic or raw concrete simply can’t provide – even if they look cool.
Cork is free from harmful stuff, doesn’t shed particles, and is hypoallergenic. It’s antistatic, so it won’t trap dust, and helps keep indoor air more balanced and healthy. Great for kids’ rooms, bedrooms, living areas, or your work-from-home space. And if little ones touch the walls, you know it’s safe – no nasty chemicals here.
Think natural materials mean complicated care? Not at all. Cork is super simple to clean. No special treatment needed – just a damp cloth or soft brush will do. Its slightly irregular texture also hides small scuffs or marks, so it stays looking great with little effort.
