Cork panels blend virgin cork oak bark with technical cork, resulting in an original and nature-inspired wall covering. Each piece is carefully selected and remains raw and authentic. A single panel covers 0.55 m² and weighs approximately 4 kg.
HOW DOES THE VIRGIN VARIANT DIFFER FROM THE CAMELEON?

HOW DO YOU INSTALL THE SELF-ADHESIVE CORK BARK VERSION?
Important tips!
- Installing our self-adhesive cork bark panels is straightforward. Start by letting them acclimatise for around 72 hours in the room where they will be fitted to prevent warping.
- Make sure the wall is clean, dry, and smooth.
- Once prepared, gently peel away the protective film and firmly press the panel against the wall to create a lasting and attractive finish without extra adhesives.
- Note that the self-adhesive backing works only on flat, smooth, dust-free surfaces (such as plasterboard or furniture).
HOW DO YOU INSTALL THE PANELS USING ADHESIVE?
We highly recommend Wakol D-3540 adhesive, which we’ve rigorously tested.
Here’s a quick guide:
- Ensure your surface is smooth, clean and dust-free.
- Using a short-nap roller, evenly apply Wakol D-3540 to both the back of the panel and the wall. Typically, 150–250 g/m² of adhesive is needed. One 0.8 kg pack covers about 4 m², while 2.5 kg pack covers roughly 12.5 m².
- Wait until the adhesive becomes transparent before attaching the panel.
- Gently press the panel onto the wall starting at the top to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Continue with the remaining panels. For best results, install in a staggered layout so the edges are offset rather than aligned. Panels can be fixed either vertically or horizontally.
- Allow the adhesive to dry fully before using the space. Typically, Wakol D-3540 cures completely after about 24 hours.

Yes, acclimatising the cork bark for 72 hours is essential. This step prevents future warping and ensures your panels look flawless for years to come.
