Think cork is only good for sealing wine bottles or pinning notes? Here’s a surprise: once it’s ground down, it can be turned into a handy material for use in building – and it still holds onto its insulating qualities. In its loose form, cork dust is super light, meaning it doesn’t weigh anything down.

It’s a fine cork granulate – dry, loose, and very light. It resembles flour or fine sand, and has that distinct soft brown look of natural cork.
It’s incredibly versatile:
Absolutely – cork is 100% natural and renewable. It’s harvested without felling trees – the bark grows back.
Store it in a cool, dry place, sealed up tight in a container. Keep it out of the sun – that way, it stays fresh and effective for longer.
Yes – it still insulates and remains light. The only change is that once mixed, it becomes a denser, more solid form.
Definitely – it works great as biomass. It’s a natural, renewable material that fits perfectly with green living and sustainability goals.
Mainly in grain size – cork dust is very fine. Granulate is chunkier and more like couscous. The biggest version is cork nuggets.
That depends on grain size. For up to 0.25 mm, it’s typically 90–110 kg/m³. For particles in the 0.2–0.5 mm range, it’s usually around 60–80 kg/m³.
It’s made by grinding down pure cork pieces. It’s a bit like grinding coffee beans – once ground, it’s sifted to get a fine, even consistency.
Cork rolls and sheets are super useful – but sometimes, you need something that can fill the tiniest spaces. Cork dust is cork in its tiniest form: free-flowing, adaptable, and still just as sustainable. Synthetics don’t compare – they’re bulkier, less versatile, and, let’s face it... not natural.

Cork dust weighs next to nothing – and that’s all thanks to its unique structure. It's made up of millions of tiny, air-filled cells that puff it up without making it heavy. That makes it super easy to move and spread around wherever it’s needed.
There’s more: it doesn’t react chemically. That’s a big deal when you’re mixing it into things like glue, resin, or plaster. Plus, it stands up well to UV rays and doesn’t degrade easily, so it’s great for outdoor applications too.
Cork dust fits right in across all sorts of sectors – from energy-efficient plasters and sound-dampening layers to fun DIY jobs. It’s a top performer in insulation blends, enhancing warmth and quietness in a space.
What makes it really shine is its flexibility. It compresses and moulds easily, letting you shape it for whatever you need. Crafters, hobbyists, and builders alike love how easily it combines with other materials for custom creations.
Cork dust is non-irritating and allergy-safe. You don’t need to worry about skin reactions or harsh effects – it’s gentle, which is ideal if you want to work in a more natural, chemical-free environment.
We don’t just say it’s safe – we’ve got proof. Our cork granulate is backed by a certified hygiene approval from the National Institute of Public Health in Poland (PZH). It confirms that the material is safe and health-neutral. In fact, we’re the only company in Poland offering certified cork granulate at this level.
Natural cork is completely eco-conscious and sustainably sourced. It’s taken from the bark of cork oak trees – and here’s the best part: the trees stay standing. The bark regrows naturally, so no harm is done to the forest.
Much of the cork dust we use comes from recycling – like old cork boards, bottle stoppers, or flooring. That means less waste and more reuse. It’s a brilliant example of circular thinking: eco-smart and efficient.
