Natural cork spacers minimise the risk of scratches, cracks, and pressure damage by keeping glass panes at a safe distance from one another. In short, they make sure each piece stays perfectly in place without touching or sliding.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN LOW TACK CORK PADS?

Firstly, the cork thickness—our standard options range from 2 mm to 5 mm (with a size of 16 x 18 mm).

In addition to the standard 16 x 18 mm size, we also offer dimensions from 10 x 10 mm up to 50 x 50 mm (with a thickness of 2 mm).

WHEN SHOULD I USE LOW-TACK RATHER THAN HIGH-TACK SPACERS?

Low-Tack spacers include a gentle glue layer that comes away without leaving sticky residues. High-Tack versions, on the other hand, contain a much stronger glue designed to stick firmly to protective film rather than glass itself.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO REUSE THE SAME CORK GLASS PROTECTION PADS?

No, cork spacers are made to be used only once. Their protective qualities and adhesive strength weaken after removal, so reapplying them wouldn’t provide reliable protection the second time.

WILL USING CORK GLASS PROTECTION PADS LEAVE ANY MARKS OR RESIDUE?

That depends entirely on which spacer type you go for. Low-Tack options use a soft adhesive that peels away smoothly without leaving a trace, while High-Tack ones leave glue marks because of their stronger bonding power. Avoid sticking them straight to the glass itself.
