A house without proper insulation is like a sieve: heat escapes, you freeze in winter, and in summer the air conditioning has to run non-stop. The result? During the heating season, you end up paying a fortune for warmth, and in summer your electricity bills shoot up. There are plenty of thermal insulation materials on the market, but most come with drawbacks: the cheap ones are ineffective, while the effective ones tend to be expensive, tricky to install, or unsightly. The best results come from combining performance with nature – polyurethane foam with cork. That’s exactly what ThermoKork Home panels are based on: they keep the warmth in during winter, ensure a pleasant coolness in summer, and look fantastic at the same time.

They are thermal insulation panels designed to help maintain a comfortable temperature in your home all year round. In summer, your home won’t overheat, while in winter the warmth stays inside.
At their core is a 3-millimetre layer of polyurethane foam (with a density of 400 kg/m³). The foam is coated on both sides with natural cork.
That depends mainly on your needs and budget:
The foam is filled with countless tiny, closed air pockets that act as a barrier – keeping warmth inside during winter and blocking heat in summer.
What’s more, polyurethane has one of the lowest thermal conductivity levels of all materials used in construction.
Yes. You may come across claims online suggesting polyurethane is harmful – these stem from the fact that strict standards and procedures must indeed be followed during its production. However, this applies only to the manufacturing stage, not the finished product. The panels you receive are fully cured and stable. You can use them in your home with complete peace of mind.
Yes – it’s a natural material filled with tiny air cells that work like miniature thermal cushions. It reduces heat transfer and also provides additional soundproofing.
Both materials insulate, but each in its own way, as they differ in structure and density. The foam inside is responsible for retaining warmth and coolness thanks to its exceptionally low thermal conductivity. Natural cork, on the other hand, provides both thermal and acoustic insulation, but it also has the advantage of being pleasant to the touch, natural, and far more attractive visually than foam. It therefore also serves a decorative role. Cork adds comfort, a warm surface, and even allows the panels to be used like a noticeboard. Combined, the two materials work even better than either one alone.
The best method is to use a contact adhesive – a tried, and tested option is Wakol D-3540.
Before you begin, just make sure the surface is clean, dry, and even. This way, the adhesive bonds more strongly, and the panels will stick firmly without coming loose over time.
Yes – the best option is to use paints for cork. They can also be finished with plaster skim or covered with plasterboard.
In summer, your flat turns into an oven, while in winter your bills soar. It’s an everyday struggle that can’t be avoided without proper insulation. In ThermoKork Home, foam and cork work together to deliver real comfort that you can feel all year round.

ThermoKork Home panels don’t just work seasonally – they provide comfort all year round. In summer, they do one simple thing: stop the outside heat from getting indoors. After all, during the holidays, flats heat up in no time. With ThermoKork panels, that problem is greatly reduced – the interior stays cooler and more pleasant, even in the hottest weather.
In winter, the panels work the other way round – they keep the warmth inside. You no longer need to crank up the radiators to full blast just to stay warm. The effect is noticeable in your wallet – the bills are significantly lower. It’s straightforward physics: the less heat you lose in winter, and the less your home overheats in summer, the less energy you need for heating or air conditioning.
The panels combine two materials – foam and cork – which insulate in a double way. First and foremost, they help maintain the right temperature, but they also make rooms quieter. Cork panels improve acoustics: they help reduce echo and limit sound transmission.
In practice, this means you’re improving both thermal comfort and acoustics at home. Two problems solved at once. And it’s worth noting that very few materials deliver this kind of result, while these panels are also made with a natural material – cork. Best of all, harvesting cork doesn’t require cutting down the tree; the bark is simply removed, and the tree continues to grow healthily.
ThermoKork Home isn’t just a technical solution for better insulation. Thanks to the cork layer, the panels have a natural appearance that blends beautifully with any interior. There’s no need to cover them with extra layers, as they are highly decorative on their own.
Cork has a warm, welcoming character. Unlike cold, artificial surfaces, its texture gives walls a natural, soft look. This creates a sense of cosiness that is often missing from modern building materials.
There’s also a practical bonus: the panels can serve as a classic cork board. You can pin notes, photos, or your children’s drawings directly onto them. This way, the insulation also gains an extra practical function.
