WHAT IS SELF ADHESIVE CORK TAPE?

Self adhesive cork tape is made from natural cork formed into a continuous strip and rolled into a tape. It features an adhesive backing, making it suitable for finishing, sealing, cushioning, protecting, and insulating across a wide range of household, technical, and craft uses.

WHAT CAN SELF ADHESIVE CORK TAPE BE USED FOR?

HOW SHOULD I APPLY CORK TAPE?

All you need to do is remove the protective backing from the adhesive side and press the strip firmly onto the chosen surface.

Please note:

The adhesive grips immediately and bonds very quickly.
The self-adhesive layer works best on smooth, flat, clean and dust-free surfaces (such as plasterboard or furniture boards). If the surface isn’t prepared properly, the cork may lift or peel away.

IS THE ADHESIVE APPLIED ALONG THE FULL LENGTH?

Yes – this ensures a quick and tidy installation, without the need for extra glue or tools. Simply peel and stick for an easy finish.

IS NATURAL CORK PAINTABLE?

Yes — for best results, we suggest using paints designed for cork. They offer good adhesion and an even finish.

WILL THE ADHESIVE BOND TO UNEVEN SURFACES?

Regarding the adhesive layer, we don’t recommend using cork on uneven surfaces. Proper bonding requires full contact, so the base should be flat, dry, clean and free from dust.
