WHAT EXACTLY IS ADHESIVE STRIP TAPE CORK?

This is a functional cork strip supplied in roll-tape form. It’s commonly used for finishing touches, decorative details, and various technical or industrial tasks. It also works well for made-to-measure pinboards, DIY builds, craft projects, hobbies, and for sealing or protecting different surfaces.

Thanks to its wider format, it covers more space than standard narrow tape, while still being easier to handle than a full cork sheet or roll – meaning less trimming and less wasted material.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 400 MM TAPES?

Each product in this range comes in a 400 mm width. The main differences lie in the thickness and the length of the roll-tape, allowing you to choose what best fits your project.

HOW SHOULD ADHESIVE STRIP TAPE CORK BE APPLIED?

Just peel off the protective liner and press the cork firmly onto your chosen surface.

Keep in mind:

The adhesive grips immediately once the tape is placed.
Best results are achieved on smooth, even, clean and dust-free surfaces (for example plasterboard or furniture panels). Poor preparation weakens the bond.

IS ANY EXTRA ADHESIVE REQUIRED?

No extra glue is needed. The cork tape already includes a self-adhesive backing, so it’s ready to install straight away.

HOW DOES CORK TAPE COMPARE TO A STANDARD CORK ROLL?

The material itself is the same, but cork rolls are usually much wider. They’re typically chosen for large-scale uses like covering whole walls or making full-size cork boards. Cork tape, on the other hand, is narrower and self-adhesive, making it a better fit for smaller projects that don’t need the width of a roll.

CAN ADHESIVE STRIP TAPE CORK BE USED ON UNEVEN SURFACES?

We don’t recommend applying it to uneven or textured surfaces. For reliable adhesion, the surface should be flat, dry, clean and free from dust. Otherwise, the tape may not hold properly and could come away from the wall.
