What can you expect from Dragon assembly adhesive?
Above all, a super convenient paste-like consistency! The adhesive in a light brown colour has a truly wide range of applications in construction – for use both outdoors and indoors. It is a universal product for bonding, among others, cork, wood and stone. Dragon will definitely make it easier when bonding window sills, thresholds, wooden skirting boards and decorative elements. And what substrate does it work best on? It handles concrete, cement-lime, gypsum and plasterboard surfaces, among others.
Before you start bonding…
The surfaces to which you will apply the adhesive should first of all be cleaned of dirt (dust, grease) and levelled (if necessary). If you plan to bond heavy objects, it is definitely worth immobilising them – until fully cured (the bond reaches full strength after approx. 24 hours). Before starting work, we also recommend checking the material's resistance to the adhesive (at least one of the surfaces should be porous). Should the adhesive be diluted? This is a common question we hear, however, we do not recommend such actions.
How to use Dragon adhesive?
Before use, cut off the tip and attach the dispensing nozzle. Bonding should be carried out at a temperature from +5°C to +25°C. The adhesive can be applied in spots or in strips. Remember to also apply a small amount of adhesive (e.g., a drop) to the ends and corners of the objects. The elements to be bonded should first be joined together, then separated and left for 10 minutes. After this time, press the bonded items firmly together again. After finishing work, ventilate the room and tightly close the adhesive packaging. Remember not to allow the adhesive to freeze – the product then loses its properties.
