Cork is a 100% natural material harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree — a species that grows mainly in Portugal and Spain. The best part? The trees aren’t cut down. The bark is carefully stripped every 9 to 12 years, and it naturally regenerates afterwards. This makes cork one of the most environmentally friendly materials nature has to offer.
