The presented photos and visualizations show the appearance of the cork in studio lighting conditions. In reality, the colour may vary slightly depending on the light and screen settings.
Flashy 3D wall panels might look impressive in catalogues and on Instagram, but in everyday life they’re simply exhausting. Over-the-top patterns and bold colours often create far too much of a “wow” effect. Cork 3D Tatami Wall Panels offer a completely different take. Their subtle, balanced 3D design adds depth to a space without overwhelming it. After all, there's a reason they even caught the eye of Vogue (but more on that in a moment).

Easy to Clean
One package contains 1.98 m² of product (11 panels). A single tile measures 300 × 600 mm (covering an area of 0.18 m²).
This simple step helps prevent warping, panels coming loose, or uneven fitting on the wall.
Best not to. Tatami 3D panels require a smooth, even, clean and dust-free surface. They won’t adhere properly to dusty, uneven, or rough walls.
The joints may be slightly visible, as cork is a natural material that responds to changes in temperature and humidity. This is completely normal and part of its natural character. However, allowing the panels to acclimatise before installation (by leaving them in the room for 72 hours) significantly reduces the risk of larger gaps. This gives the cork time to adjust to the environment, helping it conform better to the wall – making the joints far less noticeable.
We don’t recommend it – rain, temperature fluctuations, and varying weather conditions can negatively affect the durability and appearance of the panels.
Yes, it can. A precision wood saw – such as a Japanese pull saw – works best. It allows for clean cuts and helps prevent fraying along the edges.
All you need is a slightly damp cloth or a soft-bristle duster – that’s usually enough to remove everyday dust and dirt. For more stubborn stains, you can use a mild, pH-neutral cleaner.
IMPORTANT: Avoid using harsh chemicals such as acetone, bleach, or chlorine-based products. These can damage the cork’s appearance (e.g. cause fading) and harm its structure, reducing its resistance to moisture and mould.
Some panels don’t need to shout with bold design to impress – they don’t distract, they simply fit. That’s exactly what a Tatami 3D Cork is like – it adds texture, rhythm, a touch of depth, all without overwhelming the space.

Tatami cork panels offer a gentle 3D effect that enhances a space without overwhelming it. They’re available in three options: Natural is the classic cork tone, Light brightens the interior, and Midnight is the darkest of all the variants. Each tile is subtly bevelled along the shorter edge – this chamfering ensures the final arrangement looks more seamless and refined.
It’s no coincidence that Tatami panels featured in a modern, rotating house in Mazovia (Poland) – a project covered by Vogue. This house is more than just an architectural novelty; it’s a carefully considered response to the demands of modern living, combining technology, sustainability, and aesthetics. And cork? It fits right in – natural, durable, functional, and beautifully designed. The fact that Tatami was included in a project showcased by Vogue speaks for itself. Because when design truly matters, it’s not just about what’s fashionable – it’s about what’s smart.
Cork is a smart choice – it’s natural, doesn’t attract dust, doesn’t absorb moisture, and doesn’t create conditions for mould or mildew to grow.
Tatami panels are safe for children and allergy sufferers – they don’t release harmful substances. It’s not a case of choosing between “stylish or practical” – here, you get both. The wall looks great, and you can feel confident knowing you’re surrounded by safe, healthy materials at home.
Cork wall panels offer something neither wood nor ceramic can. They act as natural insulation – helping to retain warmth during winter and keeping interiors cooler in summer. They also dampen sound, creating a quieter, more peaceful space to unwind in.
Cork outperforms ceramic and wood. First of all – it’s not cold to the touch or visually rigid. Ceramic can often make a space feel like a bathroom, even when you’re in the living room. And wood? Great, until it starts demanding time-consuming daily care. Cork just needs the occasional wipe – it doesn’t collect dust, there’s no need for scrubbing or worrying about streaks. It’s incredibly low-maintenance.
Of course, appearance and practicality matter – but that’s not where it ends. Cork is one of those rare materials that’s not only natural, but actively beneficial for the environment. It’s harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, which naturally regenerate every 9–12 years – no need to cut the tree down. What’s more, cork forests actively absorb carbon dioxide, helping to reduce CO₂ levels in the atmosphere.
That means every time you install cork on your walls, you’re not just avoiding harm to nature – you’re actually supporting it. This isn’t some marketing story – it’s a genuine, measurable impact. One tree, many harvests, zero damage. So yes – you can have a beautiful living room, without guilt and without compromise.
