The images and visualisations you see were taken under studio lighting. Actual shades might look a bit different depending on your lighting or screen settings.
Eye-catching 3D wall panels might grab attention in brochures or on social media, but living with them daily can be a bit much. Loud patterns and vivid colours tend to push things too far. 3D Cork Tatami Wall Panels take a more relaxed approach. Their soft, well-balanced 3D texture brings visual interest without stealing the show. And yes – even Vogue took notice (more on that in a bit).

Got questions? Let’s clear things up!
HOW ARE 3D CORK PANELS PACKAGED FOR SALE?
Each box includes 1.98 m² of panels (a total of 11 pieces). One panel is 300 × 600 mm in size, which works out to 0.18 m² per tile.
WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE FITTING CORK PANELLING?
- Always keep and move the panels in a flat position.
- Let the panels sit in the installation area for 72 hours prior to mounting. This lets the cork adapt to the room’s temperature and humidity.
Doing this helps avoid issues like panels shifting, bending, or not fitting the wall correctly.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO MOUNT CORK DECOR?
- Choose a reliable glue – our go-to is Wakol D-3540 (we’ve used it many times and it always works great).
- You’ll need about 150–250 g/m² of glue. To give you an idea: a 0.8 kg tub should cover about 4 m² (roughly 22 Tatami tiles), while the 2.5 kg option handles around 12.5 m² (close to 68 tiles).
- Roll the glue onto both the wall and the back of the panel with a short-pile velour roller for smooth application.
- Wait for the glue on both surfaces to go transparent – that’s when it’s ready to stick.
- The glue will take around 24 hours to fully set, so give it time.
WHAT SURFACE PREP IS NEEDED BEFORE STARTING?
- Clean-up: Make sure the wall is free of dust, grease, and grime. A tidy surface helps the glue do its job.
- Smoothing rough spots: If the wall is bumpy or uneven, use filler or smoothing products to level it before installing.
- Priming: If you're working with absorbent materials like raw concrete, we recommend priming the surface before applying adhesive.
IS IT OK TO INSTALL 3D CORK PANELS ON UNEVEN WALLS?
Better to avoid it. Tatami 3D panels need a flat, smooth, clean and dust-free surface to stick well. They won’t hold properly on bumpy, dusty or rough areas.
WILL YOU NOTICE THE GAPS BETWEEN CORK FOR WALL COVERING?
You might notice slight gaps, since cork is a natural material and it reacts to changes in warmth and moisture. That’s totally normal and just part of its charm. Still, letting the panels get used to the room for about 72 hours before fitting them helps minimise the chance of wider gaps. This gives the cork a chance to adapt to the space, so it fits the wall better – and the joints won’t stand out as much.
CAN I USE CORK PANELS OUTSIDE?
It’s not advised – exposure to rain, changing temperatures, and general weather wear can shorten the lifespan of the panels and affect how they look.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRIM CORK PANELS?
Absolutely. You can cut them to size using a fine wood saw – something like a Japanese pull saw is perfect. It gives smooth edges and stops the material from fraying.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN CORK?
Usually, a lightly damp cloth or a soft dust brush is enough to get rid of day-to-day dust and grime. For tougher marks, a gentle, pH-neutral cleaner will do the trick.
IMPORTANT: Steer clear of aggressive cleaners like bleach, acetone, or anything with chlorine. They can mess with the cork’s look (like causing discolouration) and weaken its resistance to damp and mould.
Some panels don’t need flashy looks to make an impression – they blend in effortlessly. That’s exactly what Tatami 3D Cork does – it brings subtle texture, flow, and depth to your space, all while keeping things calm and understated.

#1 PANELS SPOTTED IN VOGUE
Tatami cork tiles deliver a subtle 3D appearance that elevates any space without stealing the spotlight. Choose from three versions: Natural – the classic cork shade, Light – a brighter, airy touch, or Midnight – the deepest, moodiest tone. Each piece has a gentle bevel along its shorter edge, giving your wall a sleek, polished finish.
No surprise these panels were used in an innovative rotating home in Mazovia (Poland) – a project that Vogue featured. This house wasn’t just an architectural showpiece – it’s a real answer to modern lifestyles, marrying tech, eco-conscious choices, and design. And cork? It ticks all the boxes – it’s natural, durable, smart, and good-looking. The fact that Tatami made it into a Vogue-featured home says a lot. Because true style isn’t just about trends – it’s about clever, lasting choices.
#2 HEALTHY & RELIABLE WALL SOLUTION
Cork’s a no-brainer – it’s eco-friendly, won’t trap dust, doesn’t hold moisture, and creates no breeding ground for mould or mildew.
Tatami panels are totally child-friendly and safe for people with allergies – there are no toxic emissions. You don’t have to pick between “stylish” or “sensible” – this gives you both. Your walls look great, and you get peace of mind knowing your home’s finished with healthy, safe materials.
#3 YEAR-ROUND COMFORT AT HOME
Cork panels give you benefits that wood and ceramic simply can’t. They’re naturally insulating – keeping warmth in during the cold months, and helping rooms stay cooler when it’s hot. Plus, they absorb sound, making your space quieter and more relaxing.
Cork beats ceramic and wood hands down. For starters – it’s not cold or harsh to the touch. Ceramic often makes rooms feel like bathrooms, even when they’re not. And wood? Lovely, but high-maintenance. Cork’s the opposite – no dust build-up, no scrubbing, no fuss. Just an easy wipe-down every now and then. Simple.
#4 ECO-CONSCIOUS MATERIAL CHOICE
Sure, style and function count – but cork goes even further. It’s not just a natural material – it’s one that actively helps the planet. Harvested from cork oak bark, the trees regenerate every 9–12 years – no cutting involved. Plus, cork forests absorb CO₂, reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
So, every time you choose cork for your interiors, you’re not only avoiding damage – you’re actually making a positive impact. This isn’t hype – it’s backed by facts. One tree, reused over and over, with no harm done. That means you can enjoy a stunning space without compromising on your values.
